Premium Economy

For Anna Uddenberg’s solo exhibition Premium Economy at Kunsthalle Mannheim, a monograph was developed in close collaboration with the artist, reflecting not only the works on display but the performative aesthetics at the core of her practice. A special collector’s edition extends this approach. Rather than simply shifting materials, a custom book stand highlights the pseudo-functional infrastructure that underpins the sculptures. Bent acrylic glass and a full cast stainless steel armature extract and condense the essential materiality and architectural elements of Uddenberg’s work on a smaller scale.
